Privacy Policy

SignalPosts is operated as a standalone product. If you have any question about this policy or about your data, contact us at privacy@signalposts.com.

We collect only what we need to run the product:

• Account data. Your name, email address, role, and organization, provided when an account is created for you.
• Content you provide. Writing samples, voice preferences, drafts, feedback, and any text you enter to generate or edit posts.
• Call-derived signals. When you connect a call-recording tool, we process transcripts to extract content ideas. Signals identified as internal or confidential are quarantined and never surface externally.
• LinkedIn data. When you connect your LinkedIn account, we access only what the permissions you grant allow, as described below.
• Usage data. Basic logs (timestamps, actions taken, errors) needed to operate and secure the service.

Connecting LinkedIn is optional. If you choose to connect your account, you authorize SignalPosts through LinkedIn’s official OAuth flow, and you can revoke that access at any time from your LinkedIn settings or from within SignalPosts. With your authorization we use LinkedIn’s APIs to:

• Identify you. Read your basic profile (name and profile identifier) to link posts to the right author.
• Publish and schedule posts. Create or schedule posts on your behalf, only when you explicitly approve a post for publishing.
• Retrieve post analytics. Read engagement metrics for posts published through SignalPosts (such as impressions and reach) so you can see what worked.

We request the narrowest set of permissions needed for these features. We do not sell LinkedIn data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties except the infrastructure providers listed below that are required to operate the service. Our use of information received from LinkedIn APIs adheres to the LinkedIn API Terms of Use, including any restrictions on use and storage.

• To generate, edit, schedule, and publish content you create.
• To learn your writing voice so drafts sound like you.
• To report analytics on the posts you publish through us.
• To operate, secure, debug, and improve the service.
• To communicate with you about your account.

We do not use your content to train third-party foundation models for their own purposes. Generation runs through AI providers under agreements that prohibit training on your inputs and outputs.

Data is stored in managed cloud infrastructure with access controls and encryption in transit. Sensitive credentials (such as API keys and connection tokens) are encrypted at rest. Access is limited to the members of your organization and to the minimum operations personnel required to run the service. Each organization’s data is isolated from every other organization’s.

We rely on a small number of processors to run SignalPosts, including:

• Cloud hosting and database providers (application and data storage).
• AI model providers (to generate and score content).
• Web search and research providers (to ground content in current sources).
• LinkedIn (only when you connect your account, as described above).

These providers act on our behalf under agreements that restrict their use of your data to providing their service to us.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your content or your account at any time, and we will delete it, except where we must keep limited records to meet legal obligations. If you disconnect LinkedIn, we stop accessing LinkedIn data and delete cached LinkedIn data that is no longer needed to show you your historical posts and analytics.

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
• Disconnect LinkedIn or any other integration at any time.
• Export the content you have created.
• Ask questions about how your data is handled.

SignalPosts is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
